Culture Night Belfast

It's going to be a jam-packed evening on Friday 23rd Sept with a full length Youth Circus show at Writer's Square, plus Belfast Circus School goes all Andy Warhol for the night offering a host of circus artists 15 minutes of fame.

5pm-5.30pm Belfast Youth Circus presents The Case To Answer at Writers’ Square Stage, Donegall St.

This is the last chance to see The Case to Answer, before it gets mothballed for eternity. A hit at Festival of Fools 2011 and after a successful Summer Tour, enjoy a show written and performed by a group of dedicated young circus performers that promises comedy, acrobatics, juggling, unicycles and more. Inspirational and downright enjoyable.

6pm-8pm Bite Size Youth Circus, in Belfast Circus School, Gordon St

For the first 2 hours, the Circus will be overun with youthful talent as a feast of juggling and extravagant hula hooping will run in bite size 15 mins chunks at 6.00; 6.30; 7.00 & 7.30pm.

8pm-10pm Circus Snacks for Adults in Belfast Circus School, Gordon St

For the second 2 hours, the Grown Ups take over the asylum as a series of mini 15 min shows will be presented by Barren Carrousel, Tumble Circus, Sir Edwin Longbottom, Jitterbug Jackson and maybe others too. Shows will begin at 8.00; 8.30; 9.00 & 9.30

In between times, the public will have the opportunity to find out all about Ireland's biggest and busiest circus school. Mini building tours; DVD viewing and, of course, popcorn will all be on hand to pass the time.
