Sunday Treats
- back

Fancy something special on Sundays? Maybe you deserve one of the Festival of Fools’ Sunday Treats.
Why not waltz your way down to the Cathedral Quarter for the afternoon and watch some quality street theatre in the serene surroundings of Cotton Court?
From Sunday 4th July – Sunday 29th August, at 2pm and 4pm, you can experience a ‘knockout’ performance from world renowned physical comedian Fraser Hooper, death defying aerial feats from the Barren Carrousels, half baked recipes from the Half Naked Chef, supercharged breakdance from the maestro of spin - Turbo Jonez, a spot of extreme tea drinking with the Magilligans, an exceptional display of raw talent from Belburn Youth Circus, all rounded off with a session of Jitterbug-aerobics and much more in between.
And because the shows are free of charge, you’ll have that wonderful warm feeling that makes you feel like enjoying yourself. For nine glorious Sundays enjoy the feast of street theatre shows specially chosen to titillate your tickle buds and grow your giggle glands.

For the past five years, Belfast Circus School has been staging street theatre in Cathedral Quarter each Summer, but this year they have passed the baton over to the Festival of Fools, which you may know from the international street theatre festival that takes place over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend each year.
